There are a total of FAQs.

  • How to apply

               

    1) On-line application : visit www.uwayapply.com

    2) Fill out the application form after logging in.

    3) Check the application form and pay for the application fee.

    (Any modification or entering additional information in the application form is not allowed after

    completing the application fee payment.)

    4) Fill in the self-introduction, school record and save it.

    (You can modify those documents anytime during the application period by the deadline.)

    5) The application form, self-introduction and school record must be submitted online, printed out and

    also be submitted together with the other supporting documents via mail or in person.

  • How is the competition rate?

    There is no admission quota for recruiting international students, and the application assessment is

    based on the student's scholastic aptitude.

    (According to the Regulations for Student Enrollment of the College of Education,

    the acceptance range of international students cannot exceed 10% of the admission quota,

    and admission is open for freshman intake only.)

  • Can I change my major after matriculation?

    You can apply for a double-major or minor, but it is not possible to change the initial unit of

    recruitment. Please consdier your aptitude and check the relevant major of your interest by

  • Can all applicants select the second major?

    Applicant who applies as an international freshman (where both the applicant and applicant's parent(s)

    are of non-Korean citizens) can select first and second choice of major.

  • Korea University provides many lectures in English. Is it possible to graduate by taking the English taught lectures only?

    All lectures in the Division of International Studies (DIS) are taught in the English language only. Therefore, it is possible to graduate by taking the English taught courses only in the DIS.

    Apart from the DIS, there is no other major that is entirely taught in the English language.

    The percentage of English mediated courses in each major differs and there are some courses that offer particularly high percentage of English mediated courses.

  • Is it possible to request for a refund after paying the tuition or deposit fee?

    Yes. But you must submit the 'Request from for tuition refund'

    within the designated period to the International Admission Team.

    Only when you made the request and submitted the form within the designated period,

    we will process the refund for the tuition or deposit fee.
