The purpose of the visit was part of UW-Madison Alumni event in Korea. Since there are over 40 faculty members at KU with degrees from UW-Madison, including President Kim, thus the Chancellor and Alumni Team wanted to visit and discuss areas for continued and further collaboration between the two institutions given such a strong faculty connection in addition to over 30 years of partnerships. The meeting concluded with the exchange of gifts and photos.
