Greetings from the Office of International Affairs at Korea University! As Vice President, it is my pleasure to welcome you to this online resource for all things international at Korea University. The Office of International Affairs works to develop Korea University into a vibrant international community by fostering global leaders, nurturing relations with our institutional partners and by raising awareness of our many accomplishments. As you will see from this website, we are an important resource in making Korea University an international hub of academic and research excellence.
We seek to foster global leaders, through offering outstanding opportunities for Korea University students to participate in exchanges with top quality universities from around the world. In addition, the office is providing an ever-expanding number of programs administered through our Global Leadership Development Center -- many of which include a service-learning component helping our students connect with local and international communities.
The Office of International Affairs also nurtures many international partnerships to attract and support the best and brightest international students from around the world to attend our semester, summer and winter programs, as well as our university degree offerings. We are dedicated to ensuring all international students who study with us have an engaging, memorable and rewarding experience at Korea University and in Seoul.
And finally, the Office of International Affairs plays a key-role in helping to raise awareness of Korea University’s many accomplishments. In the increasingly competitive higher education market, it is important to share with external audiences the many outstanding successes of our professors and researchers. We do this through a variety of international promotion and engagement strategies and through our international network participation.
As you can see from these many initiatives, the Office of International Affairs is a dynamic and vibrant place, and we are proud to be an important part of the Korea University family.
